Must see Palace of Fine Arts Engagement in downtown San Francisco. We chose to meet quite early in the day but be aware the sunshine is quite strong with not a lot of shade! This old world romantic venue is free and open to the public. I had such a wonderful time with Susie and Scott wandering the palace grounds for their engagement session.

According to Wikipedia here are a few fun facts about the venue “The Palace of Fine Arts that is in the Marina District of San Francisco, California is a monumental structure originally constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in order to exhibit works of art. Completely rebuilt from 1964 to 1974, it is the only structure from the Exposition that survives on site” Located close to the Golden Gate Bridge also makes it a wonderful choice for engagement photography in San Francisco.
San Francisco is such a unique location for destination weddings and engagement sessions. Each time I visit there is a new equally breathtaking area. From ocean views to rolling iconic houses on hills to this European vibe! I think it offers something for everyone and I just love that!
