Simple + Easy Wedding Day Tips

• Pay some love to your wedding day timeline
  Timelines sound scary and totally weird right? Never fear the timeline! They will save you so much stress on your wedding day to know that your photographer is right where they need to be. As your wedding day photographer I always send out a questionnaire 1 month before the wedding date.  Followed by a brief phone call to answer any questions you might have. This helps keep communication and planning smooth! A timeline for me, helps me know how long I have for family formals, a first look (if any), and wedding party photographs. It also helps me figure out if you have any party games or special toasts happening during  your reception. (Always remember it is used as a rough guide of the day & is never set in stone-just a helpful tool!)
  
  
  
• Set aside a few minutes the night before to put all your wedding day details in the same place.
  This will help me photograph smoothly + quickly the details of your wedding outfit-Shoes, necklaces, perfume. This is a great time to also include the wedding invitations or hand written vows. I always ask my bride + groom if there are any heirloom pieces they’d like to add. 
  

   

  

• Don’t forget to give the groom some time with the photographer to capture some cool last minute finishing touches.
  
  
• Stay focused on each other!
  The day goes by so quickly! I always make sure to give my couples a few minutes alone during their wedding day to soak up the incredible feelings of love from all your friends + family surrounding you. Some of the biggest feedback from my couples is how much they’ve appreciated the few minutes alone either immediately after their first look or when I steal them away for sunset photos. Plus when you feel relaxed and happy, you make naturally beautiful photographs!!
  
  
• Time of day matters if you want to obtain sunset photographs
  I always work very closely with my couples + their planners to make sure that we have 10 minutes set aside during sun set for some beautiful diffused light
