I love working with couples whose weddings are as intentional and intimate as the rest of their love story. Erin and Joey were just that kind of couple! Their Napa-inspired wedding at Bibb Mill Event Centre here in Georgia was the definition of classic elegance, and I’m so grateful to have gotten to capture it!

Bringing Napa Valley to Georgia

When I met Erin and Joey, I was immediately impressed by their attention to detail and dedication to bringing their dream wedding to life. The couple wanted to showcase their love for California wine country, but they also wanted a wedding close to home. The result was the perfect blend of hometown charm and west coast class.

Erin lovingly designed every detail of the day, opting for neutral colors, simple brass accents, and lush greenery to create that upscale vineyard feel. I especially loved her bridesmaids’ dusty blue gowns, which paired perfectly with their florals. Erin definitely took the look and feel of the space into account when bringing all the pieces together.

The Bibb Mill Event Centre

The Bibb Mill Event Centre (previously the Rivermill Event Centre) is one of those venues that makes you feel like you’re stepping back in time. The mill itself is over 100 years old, and the old brick, ivy walls of greenery, and stunning archways capture the feeling of industrial-era Georgia.

For Erin and Joey’s wedding, Bibb Mill created the perfect backdrop on which they could design their day. The subtle colors of the space really let their greenery pop, and I especially love the way the ladies’ delicate dresses looked against the strong brick walls.

An Unforgettable Outdoor Spring Wedding

The space couldn’t have made for a more perfect spring wedding. Before the ceremony, I whisked Erin and Joey away for some private photos in the courtyard surrounded by old brickwork and creeping ivy. The ceremony took place indoors in front of a wall of old windows, and Erin and Joey exchanged vows while bathed in soft light.

After the ceremony, we moved to the patio for an intimate, equally stunning dinner beneath string lights and stars. It was simple, elegant, and full of love. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful spring wedding.
