As a photographer, I have captured love stories at so many venues, but when I get to photograph a celebration at Trail Creek Cabin – it always makes my heart flutter! Seriously, this is one of the most gorgeous places that boasts picturesque nature. It features a plethora of scenic spots to capture your big day, and it is no secret that it is one of my absolute FAVORITE wedding venues in all of Idaho. What makes it special is the perfect blend of romance, outdoorsy vibes, and a whole lotta awe-inspiring galore!
When it comes to this stunning couple, I was so thrilled when Kelsey reached out to me via Instagram to book my services. During our chats, she revealed that she wanted to get married to Charlie at this magnificent Sun Valley wedding venue. Naturally, I was over the moon! Also, I now have the pleasure of attending one of Kelsey’s beautiful yoga retreats – so exciting where life takes you, right?
Their iconic day started with some getting-ready magic at the lobby of Hotel Ketchum. Because the aesthetic of this newer hotel is colorful and has that rustic meets modern chic flair, I had so much fun with Kelsey and her ladies during their bridal party portraits!
After that, we headed for the Trail Creek Cabin where Kelsey and Charlie tied the knot in a dreamy outdoor setup. Loved the charming birch arbor adorned with greenery and subtle florals. With heartfelt vows, they eternalized their love and stepped into the most exciting journey in their lives. Following this blissful moment, I had the pleasure to sneak away with them and capture their intimate portrait session. The laidback charm of this couple shone through every single one of their photos!
When it was time to celebrate, we all headed to the marquee reception space of this Sun Valley wedding venue. Wonderfully adorned with fairy lights and subtle floral decor, it evoked a romantic atmosphere for the first dance. Kelsey and Charlie relished every single minute of being surrounded by their favorite people!
