Elise and David shared an intimate destination wedding at Old Edwards Inn in North Carolina. They contacted me in the spring expressing their desire for beautiful intimate photographs without any pressure…just in the moment! So, on a beautiful fall day with 20 of their closest loved ones they did just exactly that. Low key easy going getting ready, laughter, good drinks and big smiles. They held the ceremony at the old chimney stacks on the property. After the “I Do’s” the staff at the inn took us up the hill on golf carts to witness the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain sunset. Fall leaves were just beginning to turn and a cool breeze in the air. After an outdoor cocktail hour everyone moved inside for a cozy intimate dinner curated with farm to table delights. The couple stayed behind for a private first dance among the last bit of daylight and a warm fire. It was absolutely a perfect ending to a fall wedding in the mountains.
